Spiritual Direction

Spiritual Direction is available at Immaculate Conception Parish with Four Directors currently available. Our Parish is now one of the very few Parishes in the Diocese with Spiritual Direction being offered by certified laity. Spiritual Direction, through regular meetings with a Spiritual Director (one on one relationship) is primarily about growth in one’s spiritual life. It encourages a personal relationship with God and how He is working in one’s life through the use of scriptures, prayer, and journaling. It employs the use of the Spiritual Exercises and Rules of Discernment developed by St. Ignatius of Loyola. All discussions are held in confidence. Pete Greko (954-682-7183), Sherry Glatzer (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.), and Mary Cruz (954-682-7183).

The first and third Mondays are for family members or friends who are interested in learning about substance abuse. Teens are welcome. The second and fourth Mondays are for individuals with substance abuse problems. Addiction Specialist: Raymond Messina, 551-7404. ALL discussions are strictly CONFIDENTIAL

Widows Ministry

Sometimes widows isolate themselves, even within the Body of Christ. Not "wanting to be a burden," they can easily become invisible. The scriptures teach that God cares greatly for the widow, the fatherless and the alien. For the widow, God is their defender. As a caring Christian community, we are called by God to plead for the widow's cause, to care for her (and others in need) and there are blessings for those who do. Please come and join us. Share your story and know that you are not alone. Contact Jane Lombardo, 693-9014
