The Good News

We all are being called into the loving arms of Jesus – gently and compassionately. And that call is for you personally, as well. Could this be why you are reading this now? Could this be why you feel a tug on your heart for something deeper and with more meaning? For someone you can finally believe in and connect to?

Could it be that you’re searching for understanding and hope during a time of hurt and brokenness? Or that you feel it’s no longer ok to just “get along” or to go it alone? That you need someone who will not leave you behind or make you feel left out? Someone who loves you and wants you to come home?

Well, there is good news for us all!

Our Savior

In the Hebrew language, the name “Jesus” means "God saves." At the annunciation, the angel Gabriel gave him the name Jesus as his proper name, which expresses both his identity as God and his mission to bring us salvation. Since God alone can forgive sins, it is God, who through Jesus "will save his people from their sins". It’s in Jesus that God presents all of his history of salvation for each and every one of us.

The name "Jesus" signifies that the very name of God is present in the person of his Son who was made man for the redemption of our sins. It is the divine name that alone brings salvation. And all of us can call on his name – all of us. This is his promise. Jesus united himself to us when he became one of us, so that "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

Come Home

Jesus is our God. He’s the answer to “who are we?” and “why are we here?” Jesus is life-altering and life-giving. To hear him, to know him, and to believe him is to come into a new world as a new person. He changes everything.

Listen to His call. Come home.
